About Sarangkot Sunrise Retreats
The Thapa family have farmed the Sarangkot ridge for three generations. When the road reached the village, they turned two upper rooms of the family house into a guest wing and began hosting the trekkers who climbed up for the sunrise. Today the retreat is their main work, and guests still eat at the same long kitchen table.
