Overview
This retreat teaches practical mindfulness meditation in the calm of the Sarangkot ridge above Pokhara. It is secular and beginner-friendly, focused on skills rather than any single tradition.
Each day pairs sitting practice with gentle movement, guided body scans, and short talks on how to keep a practice going once you are home. Sessions are spaced through the day with plenty of rest, and the mountain views help the mind settle.
You stay in a hillside retreat lodge with home-cooked vegetarian meals, including dal bhat. Silence is invited during morning practice but this is not a full silent retreat, so there is room to ask questions and talk with the teacher.
