24-Day 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Pokhara

Pokhara · Lakeside · 24 days

from $1,550
deposit $155 now

Overview

This is a foundational 200-hour yoga teacher training run by Phewa Lakeside Yoga School beside Phewa Lake in Pokhara. It follows the Yoga Alliance five-area curriculum, so on completion you can register as an RYT-200 and teach internationally.

The course covers techniques and practice, teaching methodology, anatomy and physiology, yoga philosophy and ethics, and a supervised teaching practicum. Days are full but well-paced, with morning practice, midday theory, and afternoon teaching labs, plus a weekly rest day to absorb it all.

Trainees stay on-site at the school residence in Lakeside, with three vegetarian meals a day including dal bhat. The training is open to dedicated practitioners; you do not need to be advanced, only committed to the full 24 days.

From our visit (May 2026)
Aarav: “I sat in on a morning teaching lab and a philosophy session. Deepak and the visiting anatomy teacher clearly know the Yoga Alliance requirements and the manual is thorough. A private room for 24 days here costs about what a shared room does in Rishikesh. The rest day by Phewa is well earned.
