11-Day Annapurna Base Camp Yoga Trek

Pokhara · Annapurna Sanctuary · 11 days

Overview

A yoga trek is a guided multi-day trek in Nepal that includes scheduled daily yoga and meditation. This journey walks from the Pokhara foothills up into the Annapurna Sanctuary to Base Camp at 4,130 metres, with practice built into the rhythm of the trail.

Each morning begins with gentle mobility yoga to ready the body for walking, and each evening closes with a restorative session and breathwork to help you rest and acclimatize. A licensed guide leads the group, carrying the required ACAP permit and TIMS arrangements, and the itinerary keeps sensible walking days with acclimatization built in before the highest nights.

You sleep in teahouse lodges along the route and eat hearty local food, including dal bhat, which fuels long days well. Because the trek reaches 4,130 metres, moderate-to-good fitness is needed, and your insurance must cover trekking to the route's maximum altitude with helicopter evacuation.

From our visit (May 2026)
Aarav: “I walked the first days of this route with Ramesh and watched how he paces the group; the acclimatization is real, not marketing. The morning mobility yoga genuinely helps stiff legs before a long climb. Teahouses are basic but warm, and the dal bhat at altitude is the best fuel there is.
